Absolutely incredible photographer — patient, talented, and truly goes above and beyond
We had the best experience taking our family Christmas photos and pregnancy announcement pictures with Elevate Studio by Joss. From start to finish, she was so patient, flexible, and kind. When the stomach bug hit our house she let me reschedule without hesitation. On the day of photos, I even got lost and was running late, and she never made me feel rushed or stressed.
Somehow — and I still don’t know how — she managed to get a ton of beautiful shots despite my toddler being in one of the foulest moods I’ve ever seen him in. She pulled out every trick in the book to get him to smile and didn’t stop or give up until she got the shot. I was genuinely impressed.
Her setup was amazing. The lighting was perfect, and she had several dreamy Christmas scenes for us to rotate through, so we ended up with a variety of backgrounds and styles. She’s incredibly sweet, patient, and easy to work with, and her work speaks for itself — the photos are stunning.
She also delivers quickly and makes accessing and downloading photos super easy in multiple formats. And truly going above and beyond… when I had issues printing our Christmas cards (which had nothing to do with her photos and everything to do with the vendor I chose), she still took the time to walk me through options, recommend affordable places to print, and help me troubleshoot. That kind of kindness and support is far beyond what a photographer is responsible for, and I appreciated it so much.
We can’t wait to have her back for our in-home newborn session in just a few weeks. If you’re looking for someone talented, patient, reliable, and genuinely wonderful to work with — she’s your girl.
